“We Win with WeChat--InnovateChina 2015” has recently unveiled the pairs of four foreign finalist teams and their mentors, drawing wide attention. The two domestic teams qualified for the final should not be neglected with tremendous strength and strong mentor lineups.
CEIBS VS CUHK
Among the six finalist teams, two teams are from Asian universities. They are respectively Swiffy and 4oodie. Swiffy is from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a world top business school co-founded by the Chinese government and the European Union.CEIBS is the only Asian business school ranking within Top 10 by Financial Times annual global business school survey and once topped the list of Asian business schools for six consecutive years. While 4oodie is from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a top university in Asia and the world. CUHK's three professors and one president are Nobel Prize winners, and its alumni include winners of the Fields Medal and the Wolf Prize in Mathematics, as well as the former president of CUHK.
Wish engine VS 4oodie game platform
Compared to the European and American teams' schemes, the Asian teams which have used WeChat for long are more familiar with WeChat products. Based on their knowledge of WeChat, they pay more attention to WeChat's social and game functions.
Aiming at WeChat's social property, Swiffy has created the innovative Weif platform for people to express their “wishes”. “Wishes” can be instant demands, personal thoughts, creativity, etc. People will be rewarded for satisfying others' wishes.
On this platform, users can release all sorts of demands and ideas to meet social entertainment needs and personal demands. "Wishes" on the platform are real consumer data with which merchants can be more precise in marketing. To investors, funny ideas on the platform can even become creative projects worth investment.
Unlike Swiffy, 4oodie is more concerned about the relations between WeChat and merchants. On the Poke-Foodie platform, users will get corresponding rewards and titles after completing a series of food-related challenges. 4oodie will work with group purchase website to generate a "food map" based on users' preferences. Food "ingredients" will be indicated on the shops on the food map, and users need only to buy at these shops to collect corresponding "ingredients". After collecting all ingredients, users will get rewards and titles. More difficult challenges will lead to huger rewards!
4oodie has created a new O2O model in the form of game, which effectively integrates the resources of users, WeChat and group purchase website. While increasing WeChat user viscosity and promoting WeChat payment, it will win more active users for group purchase website and reduce false comments on merchants therein.

Years of entrepreneurial experience and rich life experience have earned Jiang a deep understanding of the needs and likes of the Internet market. This time, he will provide powerful support on the side of Internet and investment to Swiffy.
4oodie's mentor is Sogou CEO Wang Xiaochuan. As former senior vice president and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Sohu.com, he led the development of many popular Internet products such as Sogou Search Engine and Sogou Input Systems etc. Through technical innovation, he has successfully led Sogou in growing rapidly into an Internet company ranking third in China in terms of user base.
